Viola by Peter Boardman, Donaghadee 2024
This instrument is based on the work of Anselmo Bellosio. It has a two-piece back of delicately flamed maple. The front is two pieces of medium grain spruce. The varnish is red-brown in colour and the instrument is not antiqued.
This viola measures 15 1/2" (39.4 cm) in length.
A very manageable size to play, it would suit a smaller player. Despite its small size, it produces a big sound.
